Who is LSSM Sales, Inc.?
  In order to better service our clients, Schiff Ribbons has engaged LSSM Sales, Inc. as the sole sales agent for Schiff Ribbons. LSSM handles all the marketing and sales of Schiff Ribbons products. LSSM's dedicated staff of sales and customer support personnel in New York City are available M - F between the hours of 9:00AM and 5:00PM EST to assist you with your needs. Do you have a "real" store?
  Schiff Ribbons is one of the largest domestic manufacturers of quality ribbon products with a large warehouse distribution system. However, we do not maintain a traditional brick and mortar store. Since our customers are unable to physically visit us, we make every attempt to make shopping at our web store as close to the "real thing" as possible.

Do you have a catalog?
  Yes. We maintain a full-color, 61 page catalog which we can make available to you in 3 different formats: Printed Catalogs are available by mail for $10.50. CD-ROM versions of our catalog are available for $5.25 by mail. PDF file downloads are available at no cost. However, due to the vast range of pattern and color combinations available in our inventory, the file size of our catalog in PDF format is 30mb and is not recommended for those without high-speed internet access.

Is your site secure?
  Schiff Ribbons uses industry standard SSL encryption to ensure that privacy is maintained with each and every customer transaction. When you enter your credit card information it is transmitted to us in an encrypted or scrambled format which is 100% secure. We maintain only the last four digits of your credit card number for our records.

Do you send out samples of your ribbons?
  Yes. We make samples available to you in two ways. If you would like to see all of the available colors for a particular pattern, you can purchase a Color Card for $5.25 which will contain an approximately one inch strip of ribbon for each color we maintain in inventory for a particular pattern. If you are interested in a particular color for a specific pattern, we will make available a one yard Swatch of ribbon for $2.10. While we carry one of the largest domestic stocks of ribbons, due to our daily volume of sales and the resultant changing nature of our inventory, we cannot guarantee that we will always have every combination of pattern, color and width in our current inventory. To check for current inventory in a particular pattern, please click on "Check availability".

Do you have a minimum order?
  There is a $15.00 minimum order.

Do you have a maximum order size?
  We strongly suggest that for orders in excess of $1,000, you speak directly to our customer support personnel for a personal consultation at (212) 679-2185. Additional voume discounts are also available for orders above $1,000.

In what yardage increments do you sell ribbon?
  Our ribbons are sold by the roll in a wide variety of lengths, or put-ups. Depending upon the pattern, color and width combination you are interested in, our put-ups may range from 8 feet all the way up to 500 yards. You can view the different put-ups for a particular pattern by clicking on "Check availability".

How do I place an order online?
  Ordering from Schiff Ribbons is as easy as 1-2-3. Once you have located a product you are interested in purchasing, click on color, width, roll size and quantity associated with that item. Then click on "Add to Cart". The item will then be transferred to your on-line shopping cart. If you are interested in calculating the exact price or availability of that item, please click on "Calculate Exact Price" or "Check availability". Once all the items you wish to order have been transferred to your shopping cart, you are ready to check out. Click on the "Checkout" button located below the shopping cart. At this time, you can follow the easy to understand prompts on our secure online ordering form to complete the checkout process.

Do you take phone or FAX orders?
  Yes, we will take your order over the phone if this is a more comfortable method for you. Just call us at (212) 679-2185. You can also fax your order to us, using our downloadable FAX Order Form. Fax orders to 212-696-4565.

What do I do if I am having trouble ordering?
  We do everything we can to ensure that shopping with us is as simple and pleasant as possible. However, we both know that our computers sometimes have a mind of their own! If this occurs, please do not hesitate to call. Our staff is happy to take your order. What types of ribbons and other products do you carry?
  Wow! Where do we begin? We carry both woven-edge and cut-edge ribbon products as well as Rattail™ Satin Cord, elastic loops and bows and rosettes. With over 200 different patterns in inventory and thousands of width and color combinations to go along with those patterns, we at Schiff Ribbons believe we can find a ribbon product to fit your specific needs whether you are in the packaging, apparel, craft or any other industry. Please use the SEARCH feature located at the top of each web page to assist you in locating the specific ribbon or pattern # you are seeking.

What items do you carry in your Closeout category?
  Ribbons in our Closeout section include Woven Edge Ribbons which are either in colors or roll sizes which have been discontinued, or Cut Edge Ribbon patterns which have been discontinued. All of our Closeout items, however, are of the same high quality as our regular items and are not irregular or damaged goods. All Closeout sales are "as is" and "final". No returns will be accepted on Closeout items.

How do I find out the status of my order?
  Once you have successfully completed your online order, we will send you an e-mail acknowledging receipt of your order. If at any time you need information concerning the status of your order, you can go to "My Account" once you have logged in to our website. Here you can view your account information, the status of existing orders (including UPS tracking numbers), past orders, billing history, and the patterns which you have most recently purchased. Alternatively, you can contact us via e-mail at weborders@schiffribbons.com or you can call us at (212) 679-2185 M-F 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST. In order for us to serve you better it is helpful to have your order number.

Our customer service representatives are dedicated to ensuring that each and every customer receives a response within 24 hours, if not sooner.

Am I guaranteed to receive every item on my order?
  We do our very best to make sure that every one of our customers receives each and every item they ordered. There are instances, however, in which a particular ribbon pattern will become sold out due to high demand. Please understand that we cannot guarantee that all items on your order will be available. We make every effort to ensure that our inventory is as accurate as possible. Due to the nature of our business, however, there will be uncontrollable circumstances that will result in a variation between the information in our "Check availability" and what we actually have in stock.

What if an item I ordered is out of stock?
  If you are paying with a credit card, we will deduct the amount of the out of stock item from the total and adjust the shipping charge if applicable.

What if I need to make an adjustment to my order?
  If this need should arise, our customer service department is on standby to help. Note our customer service staff is available M-F 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST. After hours, please contact us by e-mail.
